1. Power supply:
Ensure sufficient power, try to use linear power supply, and the door lock and controller should be powered separately. The power supply should be installed as close to the electrical equipment as possible to avoid interference and transmission loss.
2. Wiring:
Divided into power cord, communication When wiring, pay attention to separate strong and weak current lines, and the distance between the two pipes should be greater than 20cm.
Power line: The wire diameter is thick enough, and multi-strand wires are used.
Signal line and communication line: Use shielded Category 5 twisted pair. Among them, the 485 bus must be connected using a pair of twisted wires. When purchasing wires, it is recommended to use 4*0.5 four-core shielded wires.
Pay attention to the following points:
1. Shielded wires must not be used as connecting wires for 0V voltage (power ground)
2. Each shielding loop can only have one grounding terminal
3. When the shielding loop cannot be grounded, the shielding wire can be connected to another shielding loop of the network.
4. The signal grounds of each module must be connected together.
5. If there is a breakpoint in the middle of the line, the breakpoint must be soldered with a soldering iron and insulated.
6. Do not put the network connection line together with the AC power supply.
7. If the network connection exceeds 1000 meters, add a repeater, which can be extended by another 1000 meters after the repeater.
3. Pay attention to the selection of installation location to prevent electromagnetic interference.
1. Card reader: Do not install on metal objects. The distance between two card readers should not be less than 30 cm. Try to power it through the controller. If the card reader is powered from the outside alone, use a linear voltage regulator (transformer) for the power supply of the card reader, and do not connect the negative pole of the DC to the ground terminal of the AC.
2. Network adapter: The connection between the network adapter and the controller should be hand-in-hand.
3. Controller: For controllers without isolation, it is recommended to use the same power supply.
4. Lock: When installing a magnetic lock, make sure that the lock body and the relay plate can be tightly combined, otherwise there will be insufficient suction. For electric bolt locks, if you need to open a socket when installing an electric bolt lock, pay attention to the hole diameter must be large enough and the depth must be deep enough to allow the lock tongue to be fully inserted. If the lock tongue cannot be fully inserted, the lock tongue will keep jumping or the working current will be very large after locking the door, and the lock body will become hot.
