How does the internal structure of a magnetic lock work?
The magnetic lock has no mechanical lock tongue structure, and completely uses its strong "suction force" to suck the door leaf to achieve the purpose of locking. When the passage that enters and exits frequently must be "access control", the electromagnetic lock is the most durable and safe electric lock. The magnetic lock is an electronically controlled lock that drives the "lock tongue" to extend or retract through the on and off of the current to achieve the function of locking or opening the door. Generally, the electric bolt lock consists of two main parts: the lock body and the lock hole. The key component in the lock body is the "lock tongue", which can achieve the two states of "closing the door" and "opening the door" in cooperation with the "lock hole". That is, the lock tongue inserts into the lock hole to complete the closing of the door, and the lock tongue leaves the lock hole to open the door.
It is precisely because of the elastic function of the lock tongue that it is named "electric bolt lock". It is also because of this feature that electric bolt locks are often used on various swing doors (two-way opening). At the same time, its "hidden" device feature is more suitable for places with high requirements for the confidentiality of the lock body. The working principle of magnetic lock is the same as that of electromagnet. It uses the principle of electromagnetism and then the opposite poles attract each other. When the current passes through the silicon steel sheet, the electromagnetic lock will generate a strong suction force to tightly absorb the adsorption iron plate to achieve the effect of locking the door. Only a small current is needed for the electromagnetic lock to generate a huge magnetic force. The access control system that controls the power supply of the electromagnetic lock will cut off the power after the person is recognized correctly. The electromagnetic lock loses the suction force and the door can be opened.
Because the electromagnetic lock does not have a complicated mechanical structure and the structure of the lock tongue, it is suitable for the passage control of escape doors or fire doors. The lock body is protected by the injection of epoxy resin (epoxy) inside. The suction strength of the electromagnetic lock is now indicated in LB (pounds), and the inspection method is static pressure. The so-called static pressure is that the electromagnetic lock gradually increases the pulling force on the adsorption iron plate after the electromagnetic lock is powered on. When it exceeds the suction force of the electromagnetic lock, the adsorption iron plate is instantly opened. The data of this pulling force of the magnetic lock is the pulling force value of the electromagnetic lock. Moreover, the force between the electromagnetic lock and the adsorption iron plate must be face to face and linearly pressurized, so that the suction force of the electromagnetic lock is the largest. The adsorption iron plate may be magnetized for a short time due to long-term magnetic induction of the electromagnet.
