Magnetic lock delay control is intelligent and convenient

The so-called delayed control of magnetic locks means that there is a dial switch on the lock body, which can set the delay time for closing the door. Generally, it can be set to 0 seconds, 2.5 seconds, 5 seconds, and 9 seconds. The delay of each manufacturer's lock is slightly different. Please note that this delay is different from the door opening delay set by the access control controller and the access control software. The access control controller and the access control software set the "door opening delay", or "door delay", which refers to how many seconds after the electric lock opens the door and automatically closes it. The delay that comes with the electric lock is the door closing delay, which refers to how long after the door is in place, the lock head comes down and locks the door.

Generally, the access control system requires that the lock head comes down and closes the door as soon as the door is closed. Therefore, the default setting of the electric lock delay is 0 seconds. Some doors have bad floor springs, and the door moves back and forth in the closing position for several times before it settles. If this time is set to 0 seconds, the magnetic lock door will move past before the lock hits the lock hole. When the door moves back, it will knock the extended lock head crooked. In this case, you can set a closing delay to make the door move back and settle down after a few times, and then the lock head will come down and close the door. Five-wire electric bolt lock: The principle is the same as that of the four-wire electric bolt lock, but there is an additional pair of opposite signals of the door magnet, which is used in some special occasions. It is troublesome in formal occasions, and engineers have to test which pair to use.

The red and black wires are power supplies. There are also three wires, COM, NO, and NC. NO and NC form two pairs of opposite signals with COM (one group of closed signals and one group of open circuit signals). After the door is opened, the closed signal becomes an open circuit signal, and the group of open circuit signals becomes a closed signal. Eight-wire electric bolt lock: The principle is the same as that of the five-wire electric bolt lock. In addition to the door magnet status output, the lock status output is also added. That is, the signal is different whether the lock is extended or not. Application: Electric bolt lock: generally used for glass doors, wooden doors, etc. Advantages: hidden safety, beautiful appearance, good safety, not easy to be pried open and closed. Disadvantages: It is more laborious to dig the keyhole when installing. Note: Some glass doors have no threshold (that is, the door frame is also glass), or the top of the glass door surface has no edging, so you need to buy frameless glass door accessories to assist in installation. The cost of accessories is not low due to low production.
