Why is the magnetic lock not strong enough?

1. There is no standard installation for the magnetic lock when it is installed. The traction plate of the magnetic lock is installed too tightly, so that the magnetic lock body and the traction plate are not completely attracted face to face, but only partially attracted. This will inevitably cause the phenomenon of insufficient suction. The traction plate can be loosened a little to allow the traction plate to have a range of movement, so that the lock body and the traction plate can be completely attracted.

2. If the inspection is not the above problem, then you can consider the problem of the wire you use. You can use a multimeter to measure the voltage of the magnetic lock power input (the magnetic lock is normally 12V). The farther the magnetic lock is from the power supply, the greater the voltage drop will be. Lack of voltage will also cause the magnetic lock to lack suction, or no suction at all. We require: the distance from the power supply to the magnetic lock is within 50 meters, and it is recommended to use a power cord with a cross-sectional area of 1.0 square millimeters; if it exceeds 50 meters and is within 100 meters, the cross-sectional area of the power cord is doubled (2.0 square millimeters), or two 1.0 square millimeter power cords are connected in parallel. Please use a multimeter to test whether the input voltage at the terminal of the magnetic lock power cord is normal. Under normal circumstances, the voltage should be above 12V; if not, please find the problem with the power supply. 2. Assuming that the power supply has no problem after the above test, check whether the magnetic lock power cord you selected meets the requirements (please refer to the power cord selection standard above).

3. Assuming that there are no problems with the above two steps, the power supply is normal, and the power cord selection standard; then, please use a multimeter to test whether the input voltage on the magnetic lock side is normal; if the input voltage 12V is normal, there are two situations: ①. The terminal is not connected properly, please confirm again and connect the wiring properly; ②. There is no problem with the wiring. That is, there is a problem with the magnetic lock, please return to the factory for repair.
