The two-wire electric lock has a relatively simple design, no single-chip control circuit, the lock body is easy to heat up, the impact current is relatively large, and it belongs to the relatively low-priced electric bolt lock. Four-wire electric bolt lock: There are two wires, red and black, red is connected to the power supply +12VDC, and black is connected to GND.

There are also two white wires, which are door magnetic signal wires, reflecting the opening and closing status of the door. It uses the door magnet to output different switch signals to the access controller for judgment based on the current door open or closed status. For example, the access control's illegal intrusion alarm, the door has not been closed for a long time and other functions all rely on these signals for judgment. If these functions are not needed, the door magnet signal line can be disconnected.

The four-wire electric bolt lock uses a single-chip microcomputer controller, heat generation, delay control, and door magnet signal output. It is a common electric lock with good cost performance.
