Magnetic lock device and solutions to common problems

The magnetic lock has no mechanical lock tongue structure, and completely uses its strong "suction force" to suck the door leaf to achieve the purpose of locking. When "access control" is required for frequent access, the magnetic lock is the most durable, stable and safe electric lock! However, in order to achieve 100% effect in use, it is recommended that the magnetic lock must be installed in accordance with the following.

1. The magnetic lock must be at a 90-degree right angle to the door frame

The magnetic lock can be installed horizontally or vertically on the door frame, but the magnetic lock must be at a 90-degree right angle to the door frame regardless of whether it is installed horizontally or vertically on the door frame. Only in this way can it exert the maximum pulling force with the adsorption plate.

2. Regardless of whether the magnetic lock and the adsorption plate are installed on any door, exposed or embedded, the force between the two should be "face to face" in a straight line, and the suction force can reach 100%.

3. The magnetic lock needs to be installed indoors and the wires need to be hidden. If the door opens inwards, the magnetic lock needs to be equipped with an LZ or Z-shaped auxiliary frame. The magnetic lock is installed indoors because it is unsafe to be exposed outside! When installing the wires, it is best to hide them in the door frame for safety.

4. The adsorption plate and the adsorption surface of the magnetic lock are not aligned.

If the magnetic lock and the adsorption plate are not completely aligned, not only will the suction force be affected, but the magnetic spring inside the magnetic lock will also not be able to accurately detect whether the door leaf is closed and locked.

5. The adsorption plate cannot be locked. If there is a slight gap between the magnetic lock and the adsorption plate, the suction force will be greatly affected. Therefore, when the adsorption plate is fixed to the door leaf, a "rubber gasket" must be added to allow the adsorption plate to have a fine-tuning function and no gap between it and the contact surface of the magnetic lock!

6. Connection between magnetic lock and relay

The magnetic lock is "power off to open the door", so the power circuit of the magnetic lock must be connected to the N.C. contact on the card reader relay (Relay).
