Introduction to the working principle of electromagnetic locks, solutions to insufficient or no suction

It works according to the principle of electromagnet. After power is turned on, only a small current will generate a large magnetic force. After the access control system recognizes the correct person, the magnetic lock (waterproof magnetic lock) will lose the magnetic force to open the door.
The design of the electromagnetic lock (or magnetic lock) is the same as that of the electromagnet. It uses the principle of electromagnetism. When the current passes through the silicon steel sheet, the electromagnetic lock will generate a strong suction force to tightly absorb the adsorption iron plate to achieve the effect of locking the door.

The reason and solution for the automatic door magnetic lock (electromagnetic lock) to have no suction at all:
1. First, determine whether there is any problem with the power supply for the magnetic lock (waterproof magnetic lock). Please use a multimeter to measure whether the input voltage at the terminal where the magnetic lock power cord is connected is normal. Under normal circumstances, the voltage should be above 12V; if not, please find the problem with the power supply.
2. If the power supply is fine after the above test, check whether the magnetic lock power cord you selected meets the requirements (please refer to the power cord selection specification above).
3. If there is no problem with the above two steps, the power supply is normal, and the power cord selection is standard; then, please use a multimeter to measure whether the input voltage on the magnetic lock side is normal; if the input voltage 12V is normal, there are two situations:
1. The terminal is not connected properly, please confirm it again and connect the wiring properly;
2. There is no problem with the wiring. That means there is a problem with the magnetic lock, please contact the door to return to the factory for repair.
What if the automatic door magnetic lock cannot close the door due to lack of suction? The following problems:
1. The magnetic lock is not installed in a standardized manner.
2. The traction plate of the magnetic lock (waterproof magnetic lock) is installed too tightly, so that the magnetic lock body and the traction plate are not completely attracted to each other, but only partially attracted. This will inevitably lead to a lack of suction. You can loosen the traction plate a little to allow the traction plate to have a range of movement, so that the lock body and the traction plate can be completely attracted.
